IS WELLNESS COACHING THE SAME AS MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY?

No. Wellness coaching helps you remove blockages and start on a path to achieving better physical health and emotional well-being. Wellness coaching is a highly personalized experience that moves you to develop new habits and build sustainable practices into your lifestyle so you can live as the fullest version of yourself and achieve your goals. Therapists are licensed healthcare practitioners who specialize in helping clients develop cognitive and emotional skills, manage symptoms of mental illness, and improve interpersonal relationships. More specifically, therapists use talk therapy to treat people for a range of emotional problems and mental illnesses.

WHO BENEFITS MOST FROM YOUR STYLE OF COACHING?

My wellness coaching practice is exclusively for Black women and femme individuals who are seeking a safe space to achieve wellness through healing rituals and sustainable self-care practices. Women who appreciate our love language as Black women and want to be embraced through the comfort of our culture are the ideal clients for wellness coaching with me.

WHEN WILL I BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS?

Sis, I know you’re ready to experience the fullness of better health and wellness. My best answer is, time frames vary from person to person. Your unique circumstances, challenges, goals, and current state of wellness are all accounted for when developing your comprehensive holistic wellness assessment. We’ll review it together and create a strategic plan for helping you get the results you desire. My experience has shown that at LEAST a 3-month commitment is necessary to make lasting change.

I HAVE A LOT OF ISSUES. CAN WE ADDRESS THEM ALL?

During our time together, we’ll focus on addressing the 2-3 areas of your life that are most impacting your overall health and wellness. By having a plan for what we intend to work on, we’ll stay on target and come together to help you reach your goals.
